The Wege Foundationís Mission is the Five Pillars, or areas of interest: Education. Environment. Arts & Culture. Health Care. Human Services.

Marie Lynn Miranda loves maps. For the founder of the Children's Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI), maps help determine the link between environmental and human health. Dr. Miranda's pioneering work uses mapping tools to pinpoint environmental issues.

The Detroit native became Dean of the School of Natural Resources and Environment in January 2012. She also holds an appointment as a professor in SNRE and in the Department of Pediatrics in Communicable Diseases at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, part of the University of Michigan Health System.
